Inovio Pharmaceuticals INO 11.63% : The drugmaker, along with Moderna and Novavax, NVAX 8.04% said Thursday that it planned to develop a vaccine against the new respiratory virus originating in China. Inovio’s shares rose 8.9% in off-hours trading.
Intel INTC 0.94% : Healthy demand for Intel’s processors boosted sales for the company, according to its results, posted after markets closed Thursday. The chip maker benefited from a rise in personal-computer shipments and orders for chips to power data centers. Intel’s shares rose nearly 6% in off-hours trading.
Broadcom AVGO 2.16% : The company said Thursday that it had secured multiyear supply agreements with Apple Inc. AAPL 0.48% to provide wireless components for Apple products into 2023. Its stock rose 2.3% in off-hours trading.
